You know what I keep hearing is how it was sealed on the back of the COLB. How many places seal the BACK of an official document.

That has bugged me from the start.

Maybe it is common in other states than my own. But I am a notary and if I sealed and signed the back of a document, I don’t know it would be accepted anywhere.

Every notarized document I have ever seen presents the embossed (raised) seal on the front of the document. As noted in my earlier post, the official seal of San Diego is clearly presented on the front of my official BC.
