Since I have become a republican (2 months ago) I have had to denounce so many singers/actors! My life was so much easier when I was going with the flow. However, I am glad I finally woke up! Now I wish the rest of America would wake up with me. Hey, if I woke up and smelled the liberalism anyone can:)!

Somedays I wish I didn't know what I know. 10 years ago Rush Limbaugh changed my outlook. I haven't looked back, but I'm like you, I think life would be so much easier not to have my eyes open. Glad you made it over to the right side though. Hope you can convince some pals.
I use one general rule of thumb when it comes to popular culture, music, entertainment, TV, hobbies, etc. - "Garbage In, Garbage Out" How does it feed my mind, body, and/or spirit? Modern neoliberalism (as opposed to classic liberalism) and leftist ideology are grounded in victimology, negativity, destruction of spirituality/morality, and perennial discontent. You'll find great suggestions from other FReepers on music, movies, books, etc. that will uplift you in your new journey.
