Without any notification she was struck from the voter rolls because they said it is policy to do so when someone requests an absentee ballot 2 times.

What if you are homebound? Probably a second requirement is that you are a registered Republican.

That was our question too. My mother has received absentee ballots for more than two elections, she’s elderly and chronically ill and she wasn’t dropped. She’s in a different county, so it obviously is not the state’s policy as we were told. We figure local dems trying to get rid of Republican military voters. If my husband hadn’t checked the registration she wouldn’t have known until she requested an absentee ballot or showed up to vote and it would have been to late too register then.
Thank God for that little inner voice my husband didn’t ignore. ;)
