We need to turn this campaign around. It is in a downwad spiral. The messages are incoherent. Not only is Senator McCain and his campaign delivering different messages on different days, but the ads say one thing and the person (Senator McCain) says another. Is Senator Obama danerous or not? We ran an ad saying that he is a dangerous man - which we all agree - yet he went on and say that people should not be "scared" of Obama as president. What? Let's stay on message. We can disagree with the person in te audience for calling Obama "Arab" but that does not mean he is not dangerous or that we should not be scared. We darn right should be scared because this election is about not just experience and steady leadership (no one cares about experience at this point -- otherwise, Oboama would not be where he is and Gov. Palin would not be on the ticket) but about where this country will be heading and the basic principle and philosphy of McCain vs. Obama. Do we want a radical leftist, a socialist, a Marxist, running this cournty at this moment in time, or any moment at all? Do we want someone with shady past and associations running the country at this moment in time? Do we want radical leftists (Obama, Pelosi, Reid) controlling both the White House as well as the Congress? Wake up. The only way for us to change the game is for us to define the playing field and stay on message. We will not win if we play Obama's game --- economy. We are at a disadvantage. When the ecomony goes bad, the party in the White House gets the blame no matter what really triggered it (Fannie and Freddie --- brain child of the Democrats). So let Obama talk about the economy. We just need to reassure people that we will fix it and steps are already being taken to help stablize it. Stay calm and our productive and innovation work force will turn this economy around. We always have. Stay on message about differentiating our philosophy -- smaller government, personnal responsiblity, strong militarty, national security, consevative judges -- versus a radical leftist, a community organizer (ACORN), who wants government to take over every aspects of our lives, who together with the liberal media will censor free and open debates/ideas, who will appoint radical liberal judges who will legistlate form the benches. This is how we change the game and hammer home why this campaign exists and why we must not allow Obama in the White House. We need to run ads to spread our messages and we need to amplify our messages on the stump and in meetings, and in debates. And our messages must be consistent and coherent. We cannot pander and step back because we are afraid of the liberal media. Doing so is cowardly. Doing so is stupidity because we essentially fight with our hands behind our back. As long as we stay with the facts and be angry for the right reasons that this radical liberal has gotten a pass from the liberal media (painting him as a main stream American -- HE IS NOT) why must we be afraid of speaking, of screaming, of yelling until our messages are heard in every town, city, and state in this great country? Yes, a great country that Obama and his lots hates. Tell the stories, speak the facts, hit home our messages of why we are better for America, of why people shold be fearful and scared of the prospect of Obama in the White House and Pelosi and Reid in Congress together. This is not fear mongering. This is about the future, the safety, the security, and the prospertity of this country we are figthing for and defending. Let's change the game. Let's focus people's attentions on what is really at stake in this election and not let the economic issue clouds everyone's judgement. We must stay on our message. One, Obama is a dangerous radical lefist who wants government intrusion in every espects of our lives. Two, Obama is a radical lefist who will appoint radical liberal judges to legislate from the benches. Three, Obama is a radical leftist who has shady past and associations (Ayers, Rezko, and radical coomunity groups like ACORN). Four, Obama is a radical lefist who have pushed for the policies that allowed the recklessness of Fannie and Freddie which is the root of our economic problem today. Stay on message.
Paragraphs and spell check are your buddies.
The message should be:
“I have thought long and hard my friends, and have realized America will be better served by Sarah Palin leading our nation and the GOP, starting in January 2009. I remain on the ballot for all 50 states, and ask you to please join me with your vote, supporting Sarah Palin for President of the United States.
God Bless America!”
:)
/No, that’s not sarcasm. Not even one letter.
What message would that be, 59 ways to be Bipartisan.

Even though I will vote for McCain, he isn’t a conservative. You can’t toss conservatives off a conservative site.
He is blessed that many have gotten behind him, only because of Obama. In reality he really doesn’t deserve it.
So let people vent. Most will vote for McCain anyway. If it gets too negative, move on.
I reality people are worried and they want McCain to fight. They know the alternative.
Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, the MOST POPULAR GOVERNOR IN ALL AMERICA ... is a “little woman”??
Woo boy. You got some nerve.
Palin has more going on, than Vietnam veteran, Navy carrier fighter pilot and Senator John McCain!
At this point, I’m starting to think John McCain needs to shut up and get the heck out of the way.
Before America and the world, are lost to socialism forever.
Country First!
/YES I’m completely serious
Conservatives are optimistic, Reagan is a example.
The trolls here who post relentless depressing threads ( when the elections are 3 weeks way which is a lifetime in politics) are NOT conservative by any stretch.
Stop your knee from jerking , i agree with you , thats what i am saying.
Obama could not answer this because his party's platform and he himself is for mass legalization of these invaders.
There you have it. This is how McCain gets to swoop up massive segments of the Undecideds.
Do YOU want him to do this?
Do YOU want him to win the election?
Does HE want to win the election?
Many Americans are more concerned about their money than past ties at this point. McCain may be better off reminding Americans of how much money their 401Ks have lost since the Democrats took Congress.
I know, sorry. I realized I over-reacted and we’re on the same page.
Profuse apologies.
Anyone else have a “just Palin” bumper sticker of some sort?
I’m so sold on Palin, I’m worried I’m becoming a wannabe Alaskan. :)

Was this thread a DUH tag-team set-up, or what?
How many posters on this thread, signed up today, just to post this?...
Can we get some kitten pics on this thread please? :)
After about a year or two of Obama’s tactics and outcomes, like the Carter administration early on, the American people (assuming Obama wins, Lord forbid) will catch on and Governor Palin will look like the breath of fresh air she is, I would think. She is standing up tall and telling the truth. McCain is so much the “gentleman of the Senate” that he seems to have gotten confused. Obama’s no gentleman and would swat him like a fly.
McCain needs to blame the crisis on Dems and Obama and put it in ads. A simple ad with McCain or Palin speaking directly to the camera would be effective.
* 31 years of a failed Democratic Party policy, pressuring banks to issue more and more risky loans, is what caused this economic crisis
* At the forefront in the early 90s was Obama. He sued Citibank, and he trained and funded ACORN, when they were intimidating banks to issue more of these risky loans
* It snowballed from there
* Even when warned about an impending crisis, Democrats still blocked reform in 2003 and 2005 that would have prevented it
* Obama at ACORN meeting 2007: “We are going to be calling all of you in to shape the agenda of my presidency.”

* This failed Democratic Party policy of 31 years, has now cost taxpayers over 1 Trillion dollars, and Obama’s ‘agenda’ will make taxpayers pay even more
E-mailing McCain is fine.
E-mails and calls to the soft middle ground voters (including friends and family) are better.
If McCain isn’t going to close the sale then we have to do it for him.
Volunteer. Talk to friends and family. Get out the vote.
No problem , we are on the same page..
