this matter may seem trivial to most but having lived most my life in the city & worked in the ghetto my entire adult life.
it is an absolute pleasure to open the door for the man or female & say “good morning”
much more refreshing than in the ghetto when ya get dirty looks or the person IFO u let’s the door close on your face.

There is a chain of convenience stores with the name of Wawa [after a kind of goose].
They serve about fifteen different kinds of coffee, and stopping in for one on the way to work is almost more than a ritual for most folks.
People will practically run each other down in the parking lot to get a space, and shortly therafter almost get into arguments over who shall hold the door open for whom.
