Exactly. I hold the door for anyone who's in the area, or I delegate a child to hold it. The hard part is getting the child to move along instead of being a permanent doorholder, because people have so much praise for an 8-year-old standing there holding the door :-).

agreed! it's called courtesy. it's apparently, for many, something that is an outdated tradition.
