HOWDY FREEPERS!!!!!
Even though it is OU-Texas football weekend, I wanted to take just a few moments to address what appears to be a very disturbing trend regarding attempts by some in positions of authority to respond to political speech critical of Hussien Obama in a police state manner.
Lately I've been reading all sorts of these stories on the Internet, stories about "Obama Truth Squads" In Missouri. A college kid who was banned essentially from the town of Burlington Vermont becuase he dared to point out Obama's ties with terrorist groups. A young housewife in Lufkin Texas who wound up getting a visit from the Secret Service for daring to point out Obama's pro-abortion voting record.
Apparently, there seems to be some people who have issues with those who are simply trying to point out some very major problems with Barack Obama which they know full well disqualify him from the presidency. Unfortunately, some of these people are in positions of authority such as sheriffs, police officers and secret service agents.
And it isn't just Barack Obama either. There are now calls for police state responses to statements that are critical of the mainstream media which you know and I know are well in the tank for Obama. One of the Chicago Tribune's columists is in fact calling for the censure of Sarah Palin and for those critcal of the mainstream media to be paid visits by authorities for such critical statments.
I think it's time for these people as well as those on other message boards approving of and sanctioning such strong arm police state tatics to be sat down and given a stern lecture about the first admendment.
The first amendment gives people like myself and others the right to point out what is wrong with Barack Obama and his lackies in the mainstream media. Whether anyone like it being said or not Obama is a socialist who favors abortion and has plans to raise taxes even though he knows full well our economy is struggling. He also want to turn America into another Zimbabwe and nationalize as many essential service as possible, including oil and gas, food distribution and health care.
And, when you go and respond to these peices of reality with a police response, you're really looking to cause problems. The vast majority of Americans have had it up to here with our mainstream media and their bias in favor of Obama and against McCain. You know it and I know it. And, I think instead of calling for a police response to statments critical of the MSM, the MSM needs to take a good hard look at itself and how it is choosing to do it's job. Clearly, it's the MSM that needs to change it ways, not those who are speaking out against it.
And, I would just say to those in positions of authority who are supporting Barack Obama and the Democrats that there are far moew important things to worry about than what people think of Obama or the Dems. When an Obama supporter makes a wild accusation against an Obama detractor, it's your responsibility to check on the validity of it before going and acting like Barney Fife and causing trouble.
Finally, I would also just say to all the conservative TV and radio talk hosts out there, you might want to think about all this becuase one day that could very well be you who ends up dealing with these unsavory elements in authority who are supporting Obama. I think everyone here needs to watch our back these next three weeks to the election.
Just some things to think about this OU-Texas football weekend. Regards..........

BTTT!
I had a hard time giving away some of the McCain/Palin yard signs I had, even to my own family. I was surprised by the number of people afraid of repercussions, and this is in ARIZONA, a state that will vote for McCain by a wide margin! I’m thinking that someone in a blue state willing to put a McCain/Palin yard sign in front of their own house deserves a medal!
Who really has the proclivity for violence?
I just pray the votes of those who are informed and who care can outweigh the votes of the emotional and clueless + fraud. It's truly frightening.
A few years back my wife, son, and I went to the Texas State Fair on the day of the “Red River Shootout” at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. I can’t tell you how much fun we had. It’s a day I’ll always remember and cherish.
You ain't seen nothing yet.
If this POS gets elected, comments about That One that are not approved by The State will be considered 'hate crimes'.
Anybody in posession of Confederate Battle flags/bumper stickers/Tee-shirts/etc. will be guilty of 'hate crimes'.
Anybody in posession of assault weapons/black guns will be labeled 'terrorist' and will be arrested.
But don't worry. This will only last a few years. The country won't stand long under a Obama/democrat/socialist/communist/marxist/muslim regime.
OU is ahead 21-17 in the 2nd qtr. ;o(
BTW the final on the OU-Texas game was
Texas 45 OU 35.
