Éomer: “Yes, my lord.”

Théoden: “Gamling, follow the King’s banner down the center. Grimbold, take your company right, after you pass the wall. Forth, and fear no darkness!”

Théoden: “Arise! Arise! Riders of Théoden! Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered! A sword-day! A red day, ere the sun rises!”

[Orcs prepare for the ride of the Rohirrim.]

Éowyn (to Merry): “Whatever happens, stay with me. I will look after you.”

[Théoden rides up and down the lines, rattling his sword along the row of spears.]

Théoden: “Ride now, ride now, ride! Ride for ruin and the world’s ending!”

Théoden: “Death!”

Rohirrim: “Death!”

Théoden: “Forð Eorlingas!”

[Rohirrim horns sound the charge.]

[The Rohirrim begin to move out.]

Alice, like you I was not at all enthused about McCain's candidacy. For the first time in years, I was actually thinking about sitting out this election. My moment, as yours, was his choice of Sarah Palin.

Since then I have paid much more attention to the kind of person BHO is - and I don't like who he is, and who he associates. His presidency terrifies me.

"We can rip McCain a new one after he wins."

That is really getting to be funny. McCain could not care less what conservatives think when he needs the vote. What makes you think that he is going to bend to your will once you get him in office? Serious question.

"I have to tell you, he is a decent person, a person that you do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States.”

MrsEmma, I'm voting against obama. Your appeal not to go wobbly is misdirected. You should be saying this to mccain.

Thank you for this thread - it’s easy to feel depressed right now - but I won’t go wobbly. I’m hanging in there. I had two people walk in & turn around & walk back out of my place of business today because I “had Rush Limbaugh on the radio”. That cheered me up a bit, if they are that frightened of hearing Rush - they’re not very sure they’re going to win this.

Had the bumpersticker made long before he picked Sarah as his running mate. Sarah's a good pick. It remains to be seen whether her popularity can overcome McCain's constant overtures to the squishy middle.

McCain is the wobbly one.

Reasons McPalin will win ...

1) “Polls” that show Obama ahead tell a different story when internals are studied.

2) Hillary and Bill don’t want Obama to win, since she wants to run again in 2012

3) “Hussein” being Obama’s middle name is still news to most people.

4) A picture of Obama dressed as a Muslim (there are at least three) is still worth 1000 words (3000 in this case). Man your email station! Post bills!

5) The PUMAs who know the hows and whys of Hillary getting cheated, will vote Palin, and will pull others. Check out http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/showthread.php?t=33711&page=3 and http://democrats-against-obama.org/ and http://democrats-against-obama.org/

6) “Bitter ... [Gun Clingers]”, will vote McCain

7) The Palins ARE America and the conservative base. America and the conservative base will vote accordingly.

8) The NRA has “8 figures” of ads to unload in “swing” states

9) At one point, Obama was only 5 points up in New York! New York!

10) The Democrats were talking about Democratic consultants freaking out over Obama mis-managing his campaign before they settled into poll alteration.

11) The Enemedia is already spreading the meme that if Obama loses, it “is racism”. They see the tea leaves ...

12) The Media was calling the election for Kerry ELECTION MORNING in 2004, and Carter and Reagan polled evenly on election day! Also, www.InTrade.com had Kerry as an 80/20 favorite on election morning 2004. SOMEONE is trying to buffalo us!

13) McCain has not yet played either the Jeremiah Wright card nor the Tony Rezko card!

14) Plenty of white Democratic voters are unimpressed with Obama, and will not vote for him. Democrats can’t energize their base!

15) Obama has only 60% of the Jewish vote, compared to the 75% Kerry got.

16) The Christian base that re-elected Bush in 2004, knows Sarah is more than a Sunday Christian, and is praying for her.

17) McCain opened 50 offices in California. It’s in play!

18) Google “Bradley Effect”. Obama is getting poll votes he’ll never get on election day.

19) Operation Chaos resulted in an overlarge quantity of Democrat registrations that will never ever vote Democratic.

20) Polls are meant by the liberal media, to SHAPE public opinion, not report it.

As long as we’re channeling “Lord of the Rings”, can someone who know how to do so please post a picture of Gandalf beaning the hysterical Stewart Lord Denoreth with his staff?

I don’t care what polls or anyone says, I’m voting McCain/Palin. The alternative is just too horrible to contemplate.

Like Rush said, drag Yosemite Sam across the finish line and deal with him later. Better than having Ayers staying in the Lincoln bedroom consulting with Barry.

I’m not demoralized. I simply don’t want Obama in power with a filibuster proof Democratic Congress. Lost freedom is very, very costly to get back.

I’m confident McCain will be loyal to Palin.

Remember what Rush said as he was signing off today? Something like: "Thanks and we'll sit though the Dow losing another 500 points again on Monday." At the time when Rush made his comment, the Dow was down something like 494 points.

What happened a few moments later? A rally.

The strangest things can happen in such a short time.

It will be an eternity until the election. More ups. Hopefully no more downs, but I'm riding this wave until the end and I encourage you to harness the power of positive thought with me.

Did you manage to catch Rush yesterday? It was a riot! McCain was on fire and Rush was beside himself in disbelief. Rush then made the following comment:

"We have to hope that the McCain campaign does not issue the following statement (McCain impression): "My campaign wants nothing to do with the kind of attacks that I made on Democrats this afternoon. We've said this is not the kind of campaign we want to run, and we mean it. So we denounce ourselves."

Even so, we'll drag McCain over the finish line.

That’s my business! You get my list, and I get your grief and despair.

Feel free to post it when you see people (like me) who have goldfish memories of what has transpired, and need a boost.

Refer to my ping list for the latest version. Ping me with good reasons why McPalin will pull this out.

Tell me of any errors.

That goes for everyone.
