The Obama supporters may be genuinely ignorant that the sign they are making is the same as the socialist symbol. So many of the people I know have made comments about how ignorant today's young people are on the history of the world and the history of the United States.
I now understand why my history teacher kept saying that people who did not learn history are doomed to repeat it. It's not necessarily that they know what socialism is and want to see it happen here. They may genuinely be ignorant about it and wouldn't know what it looked like if it bit them in the ...you-know-what.
Liberals are slowly trying to re-write history in the textbooks. They are taking over our universities and teaching America's young people their ideology. They do not want our children to have a sense of pride in their country or care about their countrymen as a whole. The focus is on individualism, humanism....and a whole lot of other isms.
What better way is there to convert a society to a particular belief than to brainwash them in college amongst their peers. As long as they keep turning out citizens who think the world revolves around their own person gain and pleasure, they will always follow the cult of personality that promises them their hearts desires.
My sister raised my neice in a Christian, conservative home. My neice was involved with her church's youth group and wrote letters to soldiers on the holidays. After she went off to a public university for 4 years she came back bisexual (brought her girlfriend to Christmas to the shock of her parents) and told her mother that after finally hearing the truth at school she no longer believes anything my sister tells her. Her professors and friends brainwashed her into believing that her parents stifled her creativity and sexual identity in order to turn out a clone of themselves. She and her scary group of friends protest at pro-life rallies and protest the war with signs and ugly words when soldiers come home from deployment.
We have another relative that is gay, is involved in a relationship with a woman who legally changed her last name to her last name, they wear rings they gave one another in a purely symbolic ceremony at their gay church. They cannot legally marry in our state. With all of the issues we have concerning our choices for president, they are only concerned with who will make it possible for them to be legally married! They have both stated that is their number one concern above the economy and our national security.
At this point, Obama’s supporters are already under his spell. We could show an undercover video of Obama saying he is secretly trying to bring socialism to the US, that his supporters are all ignorant sheep following him to the slaughter while laughing, and that he is truly a Muslim and racist and his supporters wouldn't believe it. They would say the Republicans were running another smear campaign and that we took him out of context.
THAT is why so many people are scared.
