No, you’re wrong.

At this point it’s not a conservative vs Republican fight.

We’re fighting against Marxism, to save the country. You know what to do.

Yes, we can still win this.

I agree, the left has been exposed on a new level, and more people are waking up, I just hope its in time but I think if the fraud wins the left will implode eventually and we will see the next conservative movement. People are pissed off like I’ve never seen. I’ve actually heard unpolitical people say that Obama will cause a civil war and I don’t disagree.

Exactly. And that fight was very apparent during the GOP primaries and when McCain won the nomination. It was also very clear that this election would determine the fate of our engagement in the Mid-East and South Asia.

Yet supposedly pro-American and supposedly conservative pundits like Rush, Levin, and Coulter childishly ignored that and decided to do all they could to destroy the McCain campaign and damage his support.

I completely understand your feelings in this — and no one is angrier than I at the Republican Party for its dozen years of retreating on every front. But, I really think we’re wrong if we blame it in any way, shape, or form on Sarah Palin. I can tell you with all certainty that just a week or so ago, one of the most respected conservatives in America told her point blank that she had to free herself from the dictates of the McCain/RNC “experts” if she was to have any chance of emerging what was otherwise shaping up to be a fiasco. Thank God, she took that advice.

So, please, let’s not throw Sarah to the wolves along with those who have sounded retreat at every turn for the past dozen-plus years — including John, “my friend,” McCain. Sarah Palin is one of us, and we need to stand by her as the Darkness falls.

I agree. Gov. Palin is the real deal. And as a good communicator, she is exactly what conservatism and libertarian-leaning conservatives need.

She had been a bit of a subject on this forum for the past two years and definitely a favorite on the right. And we can thank Sen. McCain for elevating her to the national level. I seriously doubt that any of the other frontrunners in the GOP race would have made such a bold, ballsy, and forward-looking VP. choice.

“If the Islamo sleeper agent is elected, it may call for a stronger party.”

If he is, maybe we need to take Thomas Jefferson’s advice to heart.

“Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”

After wastching the internet feed I fired off an email to the McCain campaign echoing the guy who said “I’m begging you, sir!”.

We want to “fight with you” John, but you have to lead the fight!

At least it’s a comfort to know that we will have Sarah Palin waiting in the wings - the woman who WILL become the first female POTUS!

We have been driving down the left side of the road for WAY too long. That might be good for Europe but not for the GOD BLESSED U.S.A.

I am 38 and have been following politics since our last truly GREAT President Ronald Reagan. I first went into the U.S. Army with him as my CIC. I learned a lot in my formative years ,as many did, from President Reagan.
I believe that those of us who do hold dear our morals and principles and our “inalienable rights” will NOT ALLOW the destruction of our country.
We have the great leaders in our past and not so distant past as a template from which to draw. Not just our revered President Reagan but many others. As long as we do not (and God does know it is not easy) lose (as individuals) our focus and moral compass then we will overcome.
Maybe i am just a cock-eyed optimist but I believe that, to use an oft used phrase, “Right Makes Might”.

Absolutely. That’s one thing McCain got right. No doubt about that. I pray to God that she is the face of our future.

Your way off. Rush and those "idiots" as you call them have been hammering Obama far harder and for far longer than McCain ever has. They have been doing the dirty work McCain is only now doing.

McCain was about 35% of the Republicans choice but a racist, Marxist, America hating revolutionary like Obama is unacceptable and even Bill Clinton's 3rd term would be preferable to him.

McCain picking Palin is what energized the base along with Rush and those guys informing the country of the things the MSM refused to inform us of. If not for Hannity and Rush, McCain would probably lose this thing.

Absolutely. It seemed like that guy fired up McCain too. I was listening to Rush and he was excited too that the guy seemed to fire up McCain.

Oh really?

Please explain to me how any of this is factually wrong?

1) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, it was clear who Obama was,

2) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, it was clear that Obama sought to force an American defeat in Iraq,

3) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, it was clear that in addition to destroying Iraq, Obama sought a bizarre detente with Iran,

5) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, Obama had consistently damned US efforts in Afghanistan,

6) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, Obama had already had a strangely brief and uncharacteristically hawkish week during which he called for bombing Pakistan... and instigated dozens of deadly riots in Pakistan and helped destabilize an already delicate relationship,

7) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, it was clear who were Obama's associates and mentors,

8) That when McCain won the GOP nomination, supposedly pro-American and supposedly conservative pundits such as Rush, Levin, and Coulter did everything in their power to destroy conservative support for the GOP nominee despite the crystal clear alternative on the Dem side.

I could go on, but please tell me how any of those facts are incorrect.

A very good point - and one with which I completely agree. This was also very clear on the day that McCain won the nomination... yet the idiots like Rush, Levin, and Coulter did all they could to destroy the McCain campaign.

Let's call a spade a spade: people like Rush, Coulter, and Levin certainly deserve a lot of the blame for trying to sink our GOP nominee have a more deserving conservative nominee and thus helping to elect defeat that effete, vapid snob.
