What I Saw Today

Posted on 10/09/2008 6:33:08 PM PDT by Anaheim21

Watching the two people at today's McCain / Palin rally demanding John McCain start fighting back gave me a glimmer of hope in an otherwise gloomy day. I think that even if Obama wins, there is a something brewing at a grassroots level has me excited. I think people are tired of being pushed around - Conservatives realize that there needs to be a stronger leader and that it's time we started fighting back. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Yes, I feel the same way. It’s important to be among our “foot soldiers” and that’s why I’ll be one of the lucky ones in Davenport Ia on Saturday, getting a “booster shot” for the campaign. Picked up a few more yard signs and bumper stickers and now all I need is a good night’s sleep!

Watching the people at the rally made me think that people know more (about Ayers etc...) than what we are lead to believe and they care more about the associations than the Obama camp and the MSM would like us to believe. I am not giving up, I think the polls are skewed purposely—hell if Hussein can cause massive voter fraud why can’t he tip the polls too? GAME ON!

I feel that we squandered the momentum we had in 2001. We had it all, and then... poof. If there is a grass roots movement brewing to get some of it back that’d be good.

If the Islamo sleeper agent is elected, it may call for a stronger party.

Didn’t Michael Savage announce today that he is starting a new political party?

I’m starting to wonder how some of us can demand in one breath that McCain fight, when we are allowing ourselves to be intimidated from showing our support by merely putting up a sign or a bumper sticker. My property will never be precious to me than my freedom and my rights, that way lies slavery.

YES!!! We HAVE to fight back. We can’t just sit back and think our vote alone will make it all happen. We HAVE to get involved, in whatever capacity we can. Go to your local Republican headquarters and see where they need help. Maybe they need volunteers for the office, or poll watchers, or the phone banks, or to put up signs...it ALL counts! If you can’t get out, then call in on the CNN and MSNBC network call in comment segments and bring up the Ayers/Odingo/New Party/etc. angles...get the truth out on the wire anyway you can. This is war, and we ALL can fight.

It tells me that conservatives will continue to fight no matter who wins.

New party. New voices.

Can the old voices: Rush, Levin, Hannity, and Coulter. We really ought to thank those idiots for working so hard to depress McCain's vote in the months after he won the nomination. I've heard plenty of whining from Rush and Levin about where we're heading. And, yes, the McCain-Palin campaign deserves scorn for its weakness thus far. But I've never heard Rush or Levin acknowledge that they helped sink McCain's national support. They did all they could to hobble his campaign as soon as it got out of the gates.

Let's call a spade a spade: people like Rush, Coulter, and Levin certainly deserve a lot of the blame for trying to sink our GOP nominee and thus helping to elect that effete, vapid snob.

I’m attending a McCain town talk in Lakeville, MN tomorrow. I hope McCain keeps the heat up on the Rats like he did today in Wisconsin. Way to go Mac!

I know I’m fired up to be there!

Yes, I’ve been fighting commies on Cleveland.com all night.
It’s amazing how stupid, but plentiful their arguements are.

I’m not running out of nukes yet!

God Bless America! Buy Ammo, and vote McCain!

Yes, I feel that way despite the fact Martha McCallum on Fox News trying to do her damndest to make me feel otherwise. All I need to do is watch some live feeds of Sarah and McCain and hear the crowd response, and all is well! :)
