wright
Had breakfast with one this morning. They are set and will not listen to any true statements or facts. I gave him several places to go and read those facts and was told I was clueless about how great Obama was.

I asked him about Rev. Wright and he said he did not say he had not heard anything about him. I laugh at him and told him because he was pulling an Obama (lie) he had to but breakfast.

I heard Marc earlier this year responding to someone who was questioning Obama’s past. Marc had the attitude that, because Obama was elected to the Senate from Illinois, ANYTHING he had done in his past prior to the point of that election was off limits. He stated more than once that Obama had “been vetted by the voters of Illinois” and that they didn’t think there was anything that should keep him from being elected, so therefore those questions should be off limits from that point forward.

Marc is a closet liberal. He makes claims to be a conservative, but his actions consistently show that he probably more likely got his political viewpoint from watching people like Lincoln Chafee and Bernie Sanders. He’s never heard the teacher’s union here in Volusia County say anything he didn’t agree with, which might have something to do with the fact that his former wife is a teacher.

He never, and I mean NEVER, calls out a Democrat for anything they say on his show. I’ve heard him interview Chris Dodd and several other high-ranking Democrat officials over the years, and he lets them say whatever they want and never challenges them. When anyone questions him about it, he claims that if he wants these people on his program, he can’t attack them or they won’t come back. Every day, he takes a call from Ellen Ratner, the homosexual socialist. He and Ellen are so chummy, it’s ridiculous, and again, he lets her say whatever she wants to say about the day’s events and just accepts them at face value.

His idea of balance is to have a daily call from John LeBoutillier, who has been a constantly harsh critic of George Bush almost from day one. So, we get Ellen bashing Bush, and that is followed by LeBoutillier bashing Bush, on a daily basis. This has been going on since long before the Iraq war turned into a quagmire, and continues to this day despite the success of the surge.

He also at one time would regularly take a call from a guy whose answer to EVERY problem that was open for discussion on a particular day was to tie the problem to drugs and use it as an argument for drug legalization. I don’t hear that guy call anymore, though I don’t have as much opportunity to listen anymore, so he might still be a regular.

Marc once demonstrated his complete lack of understanding even of what is meant by the words “liberal” and “conservative” when he accused Dr. Laura Schlesinger on the air of being a liberal. I called in and pointed out his error at calling one of the most conservative women in radio (and definitely the most conservative “self-help” talk show host) a liberal, and he acted like he thought I was nuts.

I can’t really stand to listen anymore, so I usually catch Sean Hannity when I can instead. The main point of Marc’s show, as I see it, is to promote Marc Bernier.
