They claimed that the socialist fifth column in the US was not alligned with global Communism or agents in the USSR and other enemy nations.

The Weather Underground travelled to Communist Cuba and Communist North Vietnam and met with military figures before waging their stateside war in the US.
The New Left IS the street radical of the 1960s. They ARE the modern face of the Democrat party.
