So what you're saying is... that over geologic time frames, our physical remains are not going to be converted into hydrocarbons to ultimately be used as a primary energy source for distant, distant, future generations.

No. Over geologic time frames, our physical remains ARE going to be converted into hydrocarbons, but the process is less likely to begin today or tomorrow!
