Not only do they kill things, they will do it for pleasure.

My cat will attack the dog if it pisses her off. She just isn’t scared of things.
And you know you’re an important person when the cat leaves you its fruits of hunting.
And bring it to with pride as a gift.
I can tell when my cat has caught something. Her voice is very distinctive from her normal speech. Although she did slip one past me one evening. Didn't see the chipmunk in her mouth. Found what was left of the hind quarters in the living room.
All in all she's policed up a dozen (that I know of) chipmunks from the yard this year.
