I’d be very content to have President Palin!

She hit a triple. Some excellent lines, well prepared, a bit nervous, but solid overall.

She was confident...the other guy looked like a nervous fly
She did better than i thought, i was worried before the debate...I LOVED the last 20 minutes...

A hell of a lot better than I would have done.
Seriously, I think she did pretty damn good against a long time Washington insider. At one point I thought she was going to slap Biden out from under his toupee.

Governor Palin did great. The nbc anchors seemed to agree. Now the media will pick her apart. But still, she did great.

I think she did well. I loved it when she said “The pundits will bringing up the quotes tomorrow morning”. Basically calling Biden a liar and indicating the proof would be there tomorrow morning.

I think she stunk the place up. She could have pointed out the involvement of Democrats in the current Fanny Freddie melt-downs, but I suppose Senator McCain wouldn’t like that.

Rough at the beginning. Let a lot of stuff go on unanswered. Much better as it went on. Great closing remarks. I thought Gwen Ifill did a good job. Biden went after McCain all night. Palin not always able to refute as she should have (for example, Biden said McCain didnt see subprime crisis coming--they've got an ad out touting McCain's 2005 bill which was shot down by dems. it was all over the blogosphere this week. No mention.
Bottom line: weak beginning, kept going back to comfort level issues. stronger as it went on, but not enough effective refutation of Biden's points.

I think she owned him. I hope this turns the tide back to McCain’s side. I don’t think America can survive an Obama presidency. Not because we are weak, but because he is so incompetent.

I was hoping to see more pit bull. I would have liked to see her address the role of the Democrats in causing the Freddie/Fannie crisis. I would like to hear McCain address that also, so maybe she was just following his lead.
