I thought Sarah did a great job but it was very obvious that she’s still being forced to wear her Jane McCain mask, and that’s not good. Biden stood there and delivered a host of bald-faced lies, but surely the grandest was when he claimed that Obama saw the subprime problems coming, warned everyone, and McCain thought all was rosy. It was obvious that Sarah had been instructed to be “bipartisan” on the crisis, which absolutely squandered a chance to tell the truth about Obama being up to his eyeballs in the financial mess. Not only did she not do that, but she let Biden’s absurd claims stand unchallenged.
Don’t get me wrong: I do NOT think for one minute that this was Palin’s fault. I think she’s following the McCain game plan, and I fear more by the day that it is a losing plan.

Agreed. I was hoping for more of the pit bull. I guess we got the lipstick.
However, this is a conservative talking. I think that the general thinking on Main Street is that the greed and corruption on Wall Street is real and is what caused the economic disaster. Trying to get folks educated on CRA, ACORN, etc. in a 90 second rebuttal is pretty tough.
