The song is “I’ve Got the Sun In the Morning (And the Moon at Night)”. Not sure of the band. Good stuff!

It's "I've Got the Sun in the Morning and the Moon at Night."

It sounds like a studio orchestra version that was arranged for what we today call bump music.

Hi folks. Thanks to everyone for the replies.

Well, it DOES seem that the orchestra is Bob Crosby's Orchestra who was doing shows for AFRS during the time. Also the instrumental selection appears to be cut from a longer recording that featured vocalist Betty Hutton who also did shows for AFRS during haitus from her Broadway show 'Anie Get Your Gun'.

Still trying to track down the original recording.

Will update when I can.
