I think there was a former nurse who cradled a baby that had downs syndrone in her arms after the nurse told her to put him somewhere to die. At least that baby who lived for 45 minutes in this world before passing on recieved both the needed love and attention from someone. Afterwords she quit her position as a nurse.
You are referring to Jill Stanek. An FR search will turn up more than one thread on Jill’s experience. What happened to that baby Jill cradled was this /induced labor abortion’ which forced that little one ot be born so prematurely that the baby would not survive if left to struggle and die unattended. That way to kill the alive unborn was much more than a rare occurrence until the BAIPA was passed.
