You sure about that, latest numbers I’ve seen says about 1/3 favor it, 1/3 oppose it and 1/3 ambivalent.
more like 60 percent opposed, but true.
I think it was only 50% that opposed it, but either way, if the stock markets goes out of control, people will REact. Stupidly.
The "public" is pretty ignorant when it comes to economic matters and quite fickle.
You don't think they can change from "we oppose it" to "why didn't you do something?" when they start to feel the effects in a couple weeks?
And then the democrats will come to the rescue with their ACORN gift package passed by a party line vote and look like hero statesmen.
