What’s with the NY teams? With the Yankees it’s obviously the curse of Hillary but why are the Mets out?

Both teams had big pitching issues that cost them the post-season. If it weren’t for the fluke of a season by the Rays...the Yankees would be in with the wild card. The Rays lucked out big because they started falling apart in the last week.

A horrible ending - as one sign said “you gotta bereave”, but then again, “there’s no crying in Baseball.”

Chi-town still has a chance for a triple play - Cubs and White Sox in the series, and their community organizer Obama in the White House. I wouldn’t mind seeing the first event, but God save this Republic if the second comes to be.

LOL...Mussina has never had a 20 game season...good for him...you can tell the Sox just want this double header over. I know rain is forecast again in about 3 hours so they better wrap this one up soon.

In past years Yankees fans would chant “1918” when they played the Sox. While watching the game at the 99 just now,
I saw some people holding up signs reading “2000” just
before home plate.

The curse of the pantsuit lady.. lives.

What’s the chance tonight’s Sox-Yankees nightcap will look
like Pawtucket vs. Wilkes-Barre (or whomever Yanks AAA
team is) with re: to lineup...

In no particular order: their bullpen is terrible, the Phillies are in their heads, too many egos not playing as a team.

I need A-Rod and Abreu and Damon to get at least 2-3 A/B’s for Fantasy reasons. That is all I ask...take them out in the 6th or 7th. I also have Ponson pitching for me. Pap’s is on my fantasy team as well and just destroyed my ERA for the day...it is so close right now..every strike out and every run/rbi counts.

I also have Ortiz...give him a few swings tonight as well...at least!
