SAUTEED GIANT MUSHROOMS AND ONIONS
2 cups butter
10 lg. onions, sliced
6 lbs. fresh mushrooms, clean and thickly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste )
one bottle rose wine
In large skillet, heat butter until bubbly. Saute onion, mushrooms, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes. Add wine and continue to saute until mushrooms are tender
FWIW, I always add 20 cloves of minced garlic to this recipe.
