Not only an "odd site" but this tract is filled with errors. Whomever wrote this thing doesn't seem to have spent much time in the region. Egypt has never had a good economy because of its huge population centered in Cairo with a large portion of extremely poor people - many of whom live in the city dump and the main graveyard. Egypt also has very little oil and a large, military-centered government.

The author is some sort of newby on the scene that is probably the only person that has ever misspelled the name of the Khan el Khalili market in downtown Cairo - every tourist fresh off the bus knows that one!

If the arab world would concentrate more on learning trades and business instead of spending hours everyday studying the koran maybe they could support themselves.
