How do you think the candidates will do? Obama has been away at Debate Camp all week practicing with a high powered attorney, so I don't think that he will bomb.
McC talking about energy now. Sounds good. But I wish he would look at the camera more as if he were speaking directly to the people but not Lehrer.
Before long I guess they will finally get to actual foreign affairs issues. Hopefully McCain will do better there.

The only questions ever about Lehrer hosting this event (to choose a neutral term) were: A) how quickly would he betray his bias toward Osamabama, B) how quickly he would lose his alleged evenhandedness, and C) when he would choose to break the STATED format and STATED subject matter constraints.
It's just half an hour into this event, and he's done all three long since.
