Teen Pees In Teacher's Drink, Police Say
UPDATED: 5:16 pm PDT September 23, 2008
CASTLE ROCK, Wash. -- Police in Washington said they've arrested a teenager for urinating in his teacher's drink.
Investigators said officers arrested the 13-year-old at Castle Rock Middle School on Friday, and he's now facing a felony charge.
Castle Rock police said the victim was a woman who was teaching four eighth-grade boys Friday when one of them peed in her drink.
The teacher walked into her class just in time to catch the boy zipping up and discovered urine in her plastic drink bottle, officers said.
"Kids now days have no respect," a parent named Vicky said.
The initial reaction from local parents was one of disgust.
"We live in an age now where everything is a free-for-all it's just ridiculous," Vicky said.
An investigation revealed the child had urinated in her drink bottle and that the other students in class had witnessed it, police said.
The teacher didn't drink the liquid and was not hurt, but police took the boy to Cowlitz County Juvenile Detention.

"If it was my kid he would face some serious reprimands at home. As far as a crime, that's a bit much," Ronna said.
The Castle Rock School District said the boy will be suspended for at least five days.

“Urine is 99% water”
If that’s the official figure, I’ll grant it. but unlike drinking water, urine is yellow and therefore easily detectable.
Respect is earned, still no excuse.
“I always loved pranks but these are more like assaults”
As far as I know, urine is usually sterile. So it’s not as if drinking it causes any harm, aside from being unpleasant.
And sterile.
I was thinking calling the police was, much less juvenile hall besides. I guess in modern times everything must be documented for protection against the parent's lawyers.
Back when I was in Jr. High, a student brought in Brownies for a bake sale, baked with Ex-Lax added in. Several teachers hit the lavatory and compared notes. We never even found out who the culprit was, student was suspended for 2 days without any police.
unless you are well hydrated.
bio waste is considered dangerous stuff these days
juvie felony assault. YES
When I taught HS I never EVER let my drink out of my sight while students were in the room.
susie
Only a light felony????
This is a death penalty case!
I call for stoning!
If there is no infection, it is sterile in the kidneys. It can pick up contaminates as it passed out of the body. In addition, it could contain other substances, for instance legal or illegal drugs.
I think the punishment should have been that the student had to drink the teacher’s drink.

I wonder what your reaction would be if someone pissed in your drink and you drank it?
A prank is only funny if you wouldn’t mind it being played on you.
Bailiff, whack his pee-pee!
The principal in “Valley Girl” “That taste, I know that taste. I’ve tasted this before.”
Gentlemen, let's spike the punch!
what part of “valley girl” was that in?
I think that was ‘Hollywood Knights’.
No teacher with any experience will ever eat or drink any food that has been left unsupervised around the kids.
Even an Apple from a good kid go’s into the trash as soon as the kid is out of sight.
Many teachers may be slow. But they aren’t THAT stupid.
Make him drink the teachers pee..special!!!
Best solution yet.
