Thank you all -— I assure you those cakes all look far better than one that will be coming out of my oven in 20 minutes or so. Yes, folks, that’s right, I’m baking my own b’day cake. We’re having a crab feast at church tonight and I’m providing dessert.

Thank you Neo for remembering my preference of dessert! Can’t have crabs without beer! Thankfully the new Pastor is of the same mindset as I am, apparently she was chomping at the bit Monday night for the Marine Police K-9 “booze unit” to leave the group alone so she could have one. I missed the whole thing because it happened before I got there, but apparently the whole thing was funny. The cop was just chatting up with everyone because he thought it was cool that a church group would be having a bon-fire and picnic on the beach. He never bothered taking the beer-sniffing dog out of the car. ROFL!!!
