That's hysterical!

Seeing as talkies were only just coming up to speed in 1929, I can’t say that the 1929 TEST broadcasts by Jenkins had any audio. Would that have been in the same broadcast signal then?
and I know that there had been synched sound film soundtracks going back to 1922 but the industry leaders shut out the developer (it required new projectors etc.).
Also I don’t remember when the amplifier meant that the audience could all hear.
