It's Monday.
This is a site I found because someone gave me a Jimenez JA - 380 and I couldn't get the thing to come apart. Contrary to some popular assertions, it wouldn't take down because it's a piece of crap.
But just to prove that the internet really does have something for everybody, here is the Bryco, Jennings, Lorcin, Raven forum, now featuring Jimenez Arms.
Well, the Taurus or Ruger aren't at all near the same size, and the baseball bat is liable to attract more attention than a pistol shoved down the front of your shorts.
My own preference for something about the same size as the jammamatics is a large-caliber over and under derringer, though there've been 4-barrelled versions made as well. My own preference is for one on an ankle rig that also carries a spare 1911 magazine for my .45 Commander.
Some don't care for a weapon that just carries two shots. I don't care much for one as my only handgun meself.
If you just have to have a small-caliber semiauto, the little .25 Colt Junior is pretty reliable, as is the Baby Browning and several editions of copies thereof. The little Astra Cub in .22 short is particularly effective [the Army used to issue them to female ASA officers who found the GI .45 and Colt .38 revolvers too much] and the former Army tank sergeant and SFPD detective who was one of the three fellas the *Dirty Harry* character was modeled after [Colt .357 Python rather than a S&W .44 Magnum] has been known to carry his little Beretta 950 in .22 as well.
The mini-.32 pistols like the Seacamp and Kel-Tec P32 are getting down to the size of some of the larger.25s, though, and the Walther PPK isn't much bigger. But they won't fit in a handcuff or pager case, and the smaller .25s will.
my wife has a kel-tec p32. She’ll be shooting her S&W Mod 41 tonight though. Ammo is cheaper and it’s a lot more accurate.
