Good Morning Kassie, I hope each day brings you a bit of improvement. Be patient, we don’t heal as quickly as we used to, you know! :>(
Good Morning. I am anxious to hear how you are doing. We know you’re here, but we don’t know how much pain you’re ignoring in order to be here.
Tell all. Those of us who have this surgery ahead of us need to learn from you.
(and I just have to say,,, for someone who’s just had surgery you can really whip up a fantastic breakfast)
I can be patient, but sadly the world around me is still moving at break neck speed. I was doing laundry yesterday and got distracted, went into the dining room and found my entire downstairs FLOODED. I can’t get my foot wet, so I hopped to the washer and turned it off and the water just kept on coming in. So I hobbled outside and it was running out the garage too. I called Hubby (he’s broken down but managed to make it to Liberal, KS) and he told me to turn it off outside. But it was old and I couldn’t budge it. My son-in-law just happened to see me trying to run and he came running. (Son takes Calculus at the community college on Mon. and he was gone.)My sil got the water turned off. Long, long story short, all my flooring downstairs is ruined! All the things stored under my stairs is now in my living room. And the insurance adjuster comes in an hour and here I sit on the couch. Hubby told me to call a restoration company. They showed up and swarmed me like a school of sharks. Instantly wanted me to sign their contract before I had an estimate. Got an attitude when I refused. But their estimator did show up and he gave me an estimate. It was quite an eventful day. My foot held up well. Just got a little swollen by bed time. Never a dull moment.
