Always exciting to find an undiscovered piece.

They dug him up and when they opened his coffin, they saw him erasing one of his manuscripts.

They asked him what he was doing and he replied, "decomposing."

thanks for that pic. OT but I've always liked music from films scores etc, but it wasn't until I saw the movie Amadeus that it cleared things up for me in a way.

That's when I started listening to classical music stations and buying classical music. Great movie.

I find the timing of this discovery to be highly questionable.

"The tune is complete. It's only one part and not the whole score with eight or twelve parts."

Perhaps it was intended as a shleptet?

HA! Another follower of PDQ. Welcome. I prefer the piece in G minor with every ninth note removed and played at the end as a separate piece.

That sounds familiar, but it’s been years so I can’t quite recall that one...however “My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth” yet echoes in my mind.

This just further confirms my theory that Mozart is still alive. He faked own death because of Salzburg-Burgenland rivalry with other composers in a highly charged East-West feud. And now he’s secretly releasing new stuff every year.

Just like 2Pac.

It wasn’t one of the four seasonings, either. It was part of a radio program, but I can’t remember what CD it was on.

I need to check out PDQ — I remember enjoying one of his albums many years ago at a friend’s house but never managed to buy or listen to any more of his work. He seemed both very funny and actually a good musician......

One tidbit stuck in my mind from one of his “compositions”....

VIRGINIA.......

THEY CALLED HER “VIRGIN” FOR SHORT

BUT NOT FOR LONG......
