Two kittens is a good choice. Two's better than one for you and the cats. I have three, two girls and a boy. The boy being mellower comes with us when we go off in our motor home because his antics add many laughs to a day. He loves the motor home, too, and gets excited when we take off.

I frankly didn’t know much about the differences between cougars, bobcats and mountain lions. It sounds like mountain lions are the scariest, and I think they are the ones who went after some cyclists in Orange County, CA.

Lol, thanks for pinging LJ, that is a darling gif!
Think if the cat became invisible the ‘kibbles’ would still show??

Do they even need to eat? To be honest I’ve seen the invisible man more than the cat and I’ve never seen food in his stomach. Personal observations aren’t scientific proof, I know. You know any ghost cats we can ask?

In Michigan the DNR finally had to admit that yes we do have cougars here after a farmer had his horse autopsied for an insurance claim.
But apparently they use condoms because despite big cat sightings all over the place we don't have a breeding population. I guess they just spring up from the ground like mushrooms.
Oh and since they say there is not a breeding population they can be classified as "endangered" making it illegal to shoot them.

Okay, I definitely don’t wish to encounter Mr. Mountain Lion. The bobcats looked a little less scary.

Folks around here dont have a lot of respect for the opinions of experts.
But . . . but . . . the authorities have degrees in biology and other science-y stuff! Besides, the TV people reported what they said and they can't say stuff that isn't true.
People like you are radicals - that's all!

Don’t know how to post the pictures but, I have some that were e-mailed to me with the following text:(dated 9-20-2008)
Look at what James Snipe hit with his car on US-64 west of Cashiers in Jackson County . The panther was still alive but unable to move, so our neighbor called animal control and they came and put him down. A land owner had seen this cat one a week before dragging off a 320 lb steer.
Our neighbor is an amateur taxidermist and he’s going to stuff him. This one weighed 260 lbs. while most mature male panthers weigh 80 to 150 lbs. We had no idea they still roamed around here!
