I used to read Farber all the time, but haven’t “seen” much of him lately. What a wonderful piece and wonderful man! I have missed his gracious observations on history and culture; so thank you for posting this.
I think Sarah has brought our game up a notch or two, and everyone is motivated and working, same probably with Mr. Farber.
