What I, personally, find so refreshing about Gov. Palin is that she’s able to lead (as Governor of Alaska) AS A WOMAN. Not as a woman trying to be a man, as the feminists would have her be. I don’t mean this in any sexist way. She’s able to still be a woman, be strong, be tough, but not sacrifice who she really is ... A WOMAN. That’s something I, as a man, can respect. It’s a basic physiological fact that men and women are DIFFERENT. Neither is more or less than the other ... just DIFFERENT. Gov. Palin is showing the country that that DIFFERENCE is irrelevant as far as being able to lead the country, but she’s not minimalizing her gender.

I hope I’m stating this in the way it’s intended, because I have the utmost respect FOR Gov. Palin and the utmost confidence IN Gov. Palin. I’ve been telling my wife for months now to pay attention to Gov. Palin.

For me, one of her most amazing qualities is that you instantly want to be her friend and get to know her. I don't feel that way about most people I "meet" for the first time, but I do about her. Other people I know feel the same way...an instant friendship. It is not a feeling based on sex, either, as both my male and female friends feel the same. I can't really describe it, but others have also sensed it.
