Hagar donated money to George W. Bush in 2004...after the War, so I find it hard to imagine he’d vote Obama. He is just being a smart businessman IMO.

It is dumb for even conservative actors and music people to get TOO political, it ticks off half your fanbase/income potential because those people aren’t buying your product for politics. It is different if you are Rush Limbaugh or a nitwit like Michael Moore, that IS your “gimmick” so to speak.

You notice Tiger Woods NEVER talks politics. Smart man.

I am a mite surprised, frankly, to see this take from Sammy allowed to be published in Rolling Stone, considering -- happy they did it. But take a look at the comments, some of them, you can tell they come from kids who only know about the last election, the last administration, no idea whatever of historical fact of this nation. It is a sad commentary on what passes for Civics/American government class in high school nowadays. Getting a good laugh at some of them, though!!
