good to see your post Kassie.. but my oh my.. what a bad few days you had! surgery upcoming too.. sigh. All the bad stuff is done for you I hope for a LONG TIME. I followed the FR Hurricane thread over the weekend & streamed KHOU almost non stop. great coverage and a terrible event.
We were without power less than 24 hours when Ike whipped thru Ohio. Not bad & surely will NOT complain. Some trees /big limbs & big mess in yard to address eventually
Jemian. glad you are feeling well enough for the trip. I know in general you don’t like trips & being sick just makes it much worse
Bev..great Scot.. you & that computer..! I have always had wonderful luck with my Dells & really did love them. hope it wont be too long until this is all behind you.
Just have a new Notebook now.. Vista - jury still out. Will use my other for photo work though & not worry about the software conflicts other’s mention.
The new one has 3 gig memory & is an Intel dual processor..so should be fast. 180 gig hard drive not bad for small unit but most of my things are on numerous external hard drives
Freeper Family Friend Wheelbarrow & I attended the Palin/McCain rally in ohio Tuesday. A great outing on a beautiful September day here in Ohio. I posted a thread here at FR & found out a few other FReepers were there. wish we could have joined up. I dont know these particular people.
