Hmmmmmm .......... the other thread says that platforms and pipelines were destroyed.

I wouldn't be surprised if gas prices go down.

Think of all the oil tankers that were unable to come in to unload their cargo during the week Gustav brought the Gulf to a standstill.

The refineries are going to have to do whatever it takes to process those tankers so they can go back out and fill their orders for more oil.

That means the gasoline has to get to the market as quick as possible. The best way to do that is lower prices.

Somebody ping me in about a week and see if that isn't what happens.

Great news....now the ones who drove the price up should be pinned against a wall and used for target practice.
