I found this by accident and just showed four people who all freaked out a little. Sadly this comes to us through Chris Matthews's show, but I do shockingly for once agree with him: McCain can act! I was duly creeped out. I had to watch it all four times to even believe it was really John McCain and not an SNL guy pretending to be John McCain.
It's two minutes; watch it.
Thanks for that. That was lol funny.
It was the same episode he did McCain Sings Streisand.
I hereby nominate this for stupidest post of the day. All in favor, say “aye.”
Thanks for posting that. Just great!
That is hilarious! “I’ve been in politics for 20 years, and for 20 years, Barbra’s been trying to do my job. So I thought I’d try my hand at hers!”
Bunny, check out post #20. It really is him. It took me 4 viewings to be convinced.
Really? No one more stupid than I am posted anything? Cool!
I’m probably stupider, but I took the day off.
I saw the original broadcast. It's McCain.
Yeah, Yaelle convinced me.
SNL might just ask him back.
Well, hey, thanks! ;)
And a lot of McCain voters can handle him having a sense of humor. Our opponent doesn't have much of one. McCain being able to portray a creepy guy in the shower with Amy Poehler is not such a bad thing.
LOL!
1.) It IS McCain.
2.) It is funny as Hell.
3.) Screw you clods who have no sense of humor about this.
Thanks for posting!
That is McCain and he’s funny as hell. He’s acting. And he’s a good sport about it. And it works because the character is so out of character for him. Do you think Obama would ever play a creepy guy? Hell no. It’s too close to his real persona. Besides, Obama has no sense of humor. He’s basically a geek. I’m surprized the black community is so taken with him. They ususally detest other blacks whom they perceive as, well, as the way he is.
Matthews: “He can't read a teleprompter but he can do that!”
Chrissy, you pathetic pillow biting synchophant — reading a teleprompter isn't any more a qualification for President than is sending emails.
One of the things I LOVE about McCain IS his sense of humor!
It reminds me of one of the best-looking actors ever (just now found out he’s a big Obama supporter, oh well), beloved in so many movies, Denzel Washington, taking that role for which he won the Best Actor Oscar — was it Training Day? I loved him before the movie and by the end of it despised him. That’s good acting.
You are right. Obama, in his first SNL experience, was attempting to come off as high and mighty, when it was really not even acting for him to do that.
