It is customary to cite a source for a statement such as this.
And in a related item, he also agrees that if you push something hard enough, it will fall over!
What a guy!
But that’s OK, ‘cause he can just increase the checks being sent from the government to his loyal subjects. No big deal.
Taxes kill business kill jobs kill people.
“Obama Admits That Higher Taxes Will Wreck the Economy” but wants to do it anyway.
At an earlier date, some MSM journalists actually pressed him on taxes. He wanted to raise capital gains taxes, and, amazingly enough, he was told this would depress capital gains revenues. His response was that he would still do it for “equity.” That opened my eyes wide.
It seems that may be his intent. Look at Cuba and N Korea. I think the Marxists are like the bullies that have to kick down someone elses sand castle on the beach.
Even if he did say it, he certainly doesn’t mean it. The guy will raise taxes first chance he gets. He is just trying to get elected and knows his bacon is started to get a bit crispy.

Obama Admits That Higher Taxes
Will Wreck the Economy
Incredibly, Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) admitted that raising taxes on small business owners, investors, and high-income workers might actually hurt the economy:
Q: What about increasing taxes on [small businesses and investors]?
A: “I think we’ve got to take a look and see where the economy is. I mean, the economy is weak right now. The news with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, I think, along with the unemployment numbers, indicates that we’re fragile.”
So let me get this straight: raising taxes on small businesses and investors will hurt the economy. If the economy is fragile, raising taxes would cripple the economy. Presumably, it would damage even a strong economy. So why raise taxes at all? Is the goal to undermine the economy? How much damage is Obama willing to do to the economy in order to pursue his idea of “fairness?”
