My vote for Most Infuriating Moments: Whoopi Goldberg, constitutional scholar, on slavery; Joy Behar on Senator McCain's ads being "lies," (which he did refute, but I think could have been more emphatic); and Whoopi Goldberg on separation of church and state. What has Governor Palin done to violate separation of church and state? No one ever has a problem with Obama and all his ministers, advisers, his faith, etc.
I think McCain is simply saying I can handle any adversity that comes along, and am not afraid of those who don’t agree with me or support me.
This comes from him, not an advisor, focus group, or political wind.
He is a true hero, not a Talking Head.
I know he couldnt answer Whoppies question about whether or not he wanted her to be a slave again in a flippant way, but IF HE COULD ... he should have said, Whoppie, Ive actually been chained up and beaten. HAVE YOU?
