During hurricane Rita, the roads were jammed, people ran out of gas, and jammed things even more. This time they have extra fuel trucks ready to keep people moving. They are probably sucking up some of the supply. Plus gulf coast refineries and rigs will be shut down,
I filled up tonight just west of Chattanooga. Price went up a dime from this afternoon, to 3.58. There was sign on the gas pumps saying please don’t buy more than 10 gallons due to the gas shortage in the southeast. There was a constant stream of 10- 15 cars waiting to fill up.
