I'm curious. Do you have evidence of jizya enforced in a modern country?

Not heard of it officially in any modern country. Unofficially in Iraq currently (the Christians pay it to local militias) & until the Iranian Revolution, a small Shi3a community in Madinah was paying jizya semi-officially.
