I really like the Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 spl. Ballistically that cartridge is almost identical to a .45 ACP, but in a smaller and lighter delivery vehicle. It was my carry piece of choice for quite a while.
Mrs. L has Taurus snubbie in .44 spl that she's very partial to. I don't have an image uploaded of it, but it's a 2.5 inch barrel, ported model.
Extremely light yet remarkably easy to bring back on target for a follow up shot.

Lurker, I have one of the early model Charter Arms 3-inch 44 Spl snubbies. It is a great gun and pretty accurate.
