When I was a teenager I was hit by a fish while tubing. It gave me a bloody nose. But it didn’t jump. The boat motor kicked it up. I couldn’t tell what type. But I would estimate it weighed about 3 pounds.

I saw a show on (I think) PBS that had a segment on the asian carp. They drove a boat around the river with some type of electrical device which really agitated the fish and just had hundreds leaping around the boat.

It’s global warming kids. You see the water was so hot from all the CO2 in the air that the fish was just trying to escape and find a cooler place.
