Iowa Granny, I follow my dad’s procedure on age. About 6 months before my birthday, I start telling my self “I’m almost (insert age here). Then by the time my birthday comes I’m already used to it, so it doesn’t phase me.
I refuse to let it get me down. Back in the early 60’s, I was sure I would never make it to this age because we would have a nuclear war. So I am happy to be 60, and figure that life still has lots of interesting stuff in store.
