She fired an individual in law enforcement here because she didn't like how he treated one of her relatives during a divorce. The man's performance and ability weren't considered; it was a totally personal firing and is currently under investigation.

I guess the guy's tasering of an 11-year-old was no reflection on his "performance and ability" and was totally a "personal" thing too.

And I guess in Ms S’s world, a law enforcement officer who threatens to kill another person, doesn’t hurt his performance or ability to enforce laws? And said officer did in fact admitt to these gaffs on CNN! OOPs!
