The original e-mail was sent to a fellow Bryn Mawr graduate who is a physician currently engaged in cancer research at Columbia University. This is an email she received from a Bryn Mawr classmate of hers who lives in Alaska.
Jackie S. needs to get over herself.
McCain chose Palin to rally his base, which wasn’t very enthused. Many Republicans were going to hold their nose and vote for him simply because “Obama’s worse” and I believe that a considerable number weren’t going to vote the Republican ticket at all.
Any Hillary! voters he attracts because of his pick are an added bonus.
My point precisely when I responded to the e-mail, only I mentioned her 80% approval rating in Alaska as governor ... highest of any governor in the U.S.. Also mentioned the fact that Bryn Mawr was an incubator for liberals.
Get a grip people. This is no more real than any other internet chain letter.
All this says is that the Alaskans live fuller, richer lives than us Pennsylvanians...
