One of our dogs would do the same thing, the other woofs his food down and wouldn’t notice a pill. When we have to give our dogs pills we buy Cheez Whiz. Easier than using peanut butter, you just squirt the pill with the cheese. I noticed our vet has some new treats with a small pocket in them that that allow you to slip a pill inside.
Oh yeah, she loved cheese, too. Squash the pill in a chunk of cheddar and that’s all she wrote.
