It’s more than that. Almost every black person votes for any Democrat just because they’re black (the black people, not the Democrat), which I never understood. But they must know what they’re doing.

Bush got only ~8% of the black vote. John Kerry got the rest. John Kerry is not black.

Ditto Bush versus Al. Gore. Gore is not black either.

In Louisiana, in the previous governors race, they voted for the Democrat Blanco voer Bobby Jindal.

There are some issues that transcend race, this is one of them.

The Republican party has lost the black vote for a long, long time.

Even Hillary (D) had the black vote sewn up. Til she and her surrogates opened their mouths and started a very deliberate campaign to alienate the black vote. Apparently they thought the race care would be enough to put them over the top. It almost was.

I think the (D) barrier is greater than the race barrier at this point in time.

not really--the dems get 90% or more of the black vote so they wouldn't vote for McCain anyway

Where it helped obama being black was in the primary against Hillary and I loved it.
Americas first Black president had the race card he always played used against his wife
