I don’t think they even care anymore. They are making anything up and hoping it will stick.
It’s the old “throw spaghetti on the wall” trick. Some of the sticky spaghetti might just stick. That’s what they are hoping for.
So much for a different type of politics and changing how business is done in Washington. So much for having respectful debates with political opponents. So much for hoping to find common ground with those opponents.
