See for yourself just how radical our leftist friends at Google really are:
1) Go to igoogle.com.
2) In the "Create Your Own Homepage in Under 30 Seconds" field, under "Select Interests" click the "Politics" box.
3) Click "See Your Page" at the bottom.
4) Click the "Politics" tab on your iGoogle home page.
Here's what you get:
1) NPR
2) DailyKos
3) MSNBC
4) DemocracyNow! (the flagship of ultra-leftist Pacifica radio; home base for the anarchists in Minneapolis this week)
5) Yahoo!
6) Washington Post
7) Drudge (which hasn't been updated in a month; all of the other links are current)
8) NPR2
9) CNN
They could have had ABCNBCCBSCNNNPRMSNBCWashingtonPostNewYorkTimesLATimes and I wouldn't have bat an eye. I'm completely used to it.
But Democracy Now? Daily Kos? Are you kidding me?
You just have to expect the styrofoam temples to be stocked with liberal notions.
They’ve omitted the links to Communist Party U.S.A. and the Socialist Worker websites. It must still be a work in progress.
You can create a very customized search based home page with a variety of news sources (including FreeRepublic RSS Feeds http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/*/feed.rss) here:
Google’s for Commies!
no they said “leftist radical” by the Daily Kos standard.... Communist Party USA is right of Ann Coulter.
Wonder if the DNC is claiming this as a contribution?
I have an iGoogle page (custom with Coulter and Malkin headlines).
I’ve always thought someone from F.R. should create a “gidget”
Is Live.com something from Microsoft?
TWO channels of NPR? Now that is abusive, trying to drone people to death.
Good line...:-)
If it was a big deal, it’d be in Breaking News.
It’s an insight into Google’s corporate identity. The sites they choose to promote are as radical as they come. Which makes Google equally radical.
If you want to continue trusting your internet searches to them, be my guest. You’re not the only one out there who doesn’t give a damn... that’s how Google got where it is.
I’m playing with Live.com now. It’s actually better than Google. Especially the image search.
I agree.
Just this week I have deleted all things (Google) from my PC.
How do you think they became so wealthy?/ they watch your ever move on the PC, and sell the info., big bucks!
